Yes.
It should be a baby blue Vespa with heart-shaped hubcaps.
B/c you live in the city and it will be easier to get around than a car or mass transit.
Yes. A scooter equals environmentally friendly peso saving euphoria. I think it would be good for the city, getting places that you couldn't with a car would be handy.
Black with chrome trim and a horn that plays Dixie.
The hubcaps would have to be the kind that stayed still while the wheels rotated, otherwise you would never know they were hearts.
Seriously though, a big downside, it seems, is that I would still be making a payment and have a semi-regular maintenance obligation on a vehicle. Also, I wouldn't really want to ride it in the rain or snow, so that would limit its usage.
Good call on the weather thing. I was actually coming back to the comment section to say that very thing...it dawned on me this morning as I was riding my bike to the gym and realized that, hey, it's gonna suck (even more) to ride my bike to work in a couple months. Of course, the train doesn't start running until an hour after I'm supposed to be there so...yeah, I may not have that job for long.
I'm quite sure that you know my basic opinion of scooters...
I swear that soon I will go into it more extensively in an email. Soon...
